The Exeter Foundation was set up in 2010 by some of Exeter’s top names in business and sport who joined together to use their expertise to raise money for charities and to support key projects across the region.
The stated aim of The Exeter Foundation
To provide the City of Exeter and its surrounding areas with a ‘Civic Trust’ to grasp responsibility for the advancement of Greater Exeter, and to pursue the vision of people who live, work and run businesses in Exeter and the surrounding areas.
To ensure that supporters are able to raise money in the area, for the area.
The Foundation is to be used as a medium to promote responsibility for the future prosperity of Exeter, a vehicle for collective civic pride.
