Heather Fell triumphant at second Question of Sport

Olympic silver medalist Heather Fell skippered her team to success in the latest Question of Sport Night held at Sandy Park on Thursday evening.

Flanked by Exeter City footballer and Geoff Parling, the Exeter Chiefs, England and British Lions rugby international, the trio triumphed over three more of the region's top sporting stars.

In a fun-filled evening, hosted by Mark Tyler, Heather's team edged out their rivals, skippered by Exeter Chiefs and England star Thomas Waldrom 45-40.

Alongside Thomas in his side were Olympic rower Annie Vernon and Somerset cricketer Pete Trego.

Battling out over eight rounds, the night mirrored much of the traditional BBC show, but also had a couple of its own special rounds.

All in aid of the Exeter Foundation, the official charity of the Exeter Chiefs, over 230 people were in attendance, whilst an auction of sporting memorabilia helped to raise £700.

The quiz itself was devised by Exeter Chiefs Communications Manager, Mark Stevens, and it's hoped a similar event will be held later in the year.
