Become a designated charity next season - Apply Now!

The deadline for applications to become an Exeter Foundation designated charity for the 2017/18 rugby season is approaching, with forms needing to be returned by Friday, 26 May.

The Exeter Foundation selects charities before each Exeter Chiefs’ season that provide volunteer man hours to collect funds at home games, in return of a share of the money collected.

This season 21 charities have assisted in co-ordinating and collecting all of the monies on match-days, which are then ring-fenced specifically for these organisations and are distributed at the annual Exeter Foundation presentation dinner.

Exeter Foundation Trustee Keiron Northcott said: “We couldn’t operate our match-day fundraising without the help of the designated charities, so we are hugely appreciative of their volunteers.

“We have worked with a wide range of charities over the past six years so will welcome applications from a variety of organisations.”
