The Youth Section runs teams from U7s to U16s, and administer the Clots (U18′s).
The Youth Section committee meets at least once a month and finances itself from membership fees, grants and sponsorship. The Youth Section also benefits from a share of the Chiefs “Match Day Draw” which it runs for the Club at Chiefs home fixtures. The senior Club supports Youth Rugby with use of the Club’s wonderful facilities and amenities.
All teams have a manager and at least one coach and are continually striving towards RFU qualifications for all its coaches. All are offered regular first aid training. The youth section regularly invests in new equipment, which benefits all sections of Exeter Rugby Club.
Most teams play or train on Sunday mornings between 10am and 1pm and train on Wednesday or Thursday evenings on the Club’s all weather, floodlit pitch.
Matches are played on both the all-weather pitch and the mini and second team grass pitches at Sandy Park. Some 15-a-side games are also played on the College pitch at Glasshouse Lane (Countess Wear) to enable us to fulfil all of our fixtures.

Players are provided with Chiefs shirts on match days and are provided with food after each fixture in the County or Exeter Suites at Sandy Park.
